Bob Faul met Alma Futty in January 1969, via his mother, Mildred Faul.  Mildred and Alma worked as nurses at Franklin Square, a hospital in Baltimore, Maryland from which Alma graduated their nursing program.  Mildred told her son, “I know a nice, wholesome girl I want you to meet.”  Bob did not call Alma right away.  When he did, however, they dated for three months and married in the small church where Alma was raised in Edgewood, Maryland.  Forty-five years and two children later, they still have a passion for each other and creating beautiful things.
